​“A Christian Teenager’s Guide to Surviving High School” was born from a private blog Ashley Conner created to help her younger brother navigate high school as an incoming freshman. There were hundreds of posts from big sister to little brother, like "Who pays for the date" and How to get along with THAT teacher." Much of what she shared with her brother is found in this book. 


About the Author

Ashley Conner graduated middle school in a class of 18 students. Growing up in a small, inner-city school might not have been the perfect preparation as she entered the doors of her new high school, along with 2,206 other students.

Not only did she survive the high school years, she flourished. And when her younger brother, Zachary, entered his freshman year, Ashley – then a rising senior – decided to give her brother a secret gift. She create a private blog, just for him, titled, “Your Sister’s Guide to Surviving High School.”

Today, Ashley is a junior at a major university, while Zachary is finishing up his senior year of high school. From the looks of things, her advice has served her brother well.
